MediaInfo - поможет узнать, какой именно кодек необходим для того или иного видео; с MediaInfo вы узнаете все от названия, размера, продолжительности и размера файла и до используемый кодек, битрейт, канал, разрешение и пр. Помимо видео, MediaInfo так же работает с документами и аудио-файлами.
